Had some serious issues again working in straight up photo-shop. Not to mention how worried I am to be working in raster, rather than vector. That said, it’s just so much easier to erase lines, and manipulate the image in Photoshop/Gimp, than it is to FIGHT with manipulating things in INKSCAPE.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still very appreciative of inkscape, and it’s mass function, but man. When I want to erase something, I shouldn’t have to pray to 5 gods beforehand.
Let’s see, 5 gods of erasing:
1. The god of removal.
2. The god of not removing what you wanted to keep.
3. The god of not leaving a smear (or digital equivalent).
4. The god of not accidentally saving over an error.
5. And…I guess….Ted?
No, Ted is the vengeful god of unlocked layers, who doth decree layer 4 will shift left-wise by four fathoms, causing yonder colour to becomest misaligned.
I love it!
